¼ cup butter
½ (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
1 cup milk
3 ounces grated Parmesan cheese
⅛ tsp ground black pepper
1. melt butter in saucepan over medium heat
2. add cream cheese and garlic powder, whisking until smooth
3. add milk, slowly, whisking to smooth out lumps
4. stir in parmesan and black pepper
5. remove from heat when sauce reaches desired consistency
6. toss with hot pasta to serve

Hmm I make an Alfredo sauce but never used cream cheese, but heavy milk instead. I'll have to try it. I'm printing it out now. thanks!
