Basic Couscous

                             
Servings12
couscous, uncooked1/3 cup3/4 cup
water or broth1/2 cup1 cup
salt (optional)pinch1/4 tsp
olive oil or butter1 tsp2 tsp

1. in medium saucepan, bring water, salt and olive oil/butter to a boil
2. stir in couscous, cover
3. remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes
4. fluff couscous lightly with fork before serving
